চার ক্ষেত্রে গোসল করা সুন্নাত
১. জুমাআর নামাযের জন্য।
২. দুই ঈদের নামাযের জন্য।
৩. হজ্ব¡ ও উমরার ইহরাম বাঁধার জন্য।
৪. (হজ্ব করতে গিয়ে) উকূফে আরাফার জন্য। –কুদুরী১/৭৮পৃ, বেহেশতী জেওর
গোসলের আদবসমূহ
১. গোসলের জন্য কাপড় খোলার সময় এই দু‘আ পড়বে– بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِىْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ. –ইবনুস সুন্নি
২. বসে গোসল করা উত্তম।
৩. আড়াল স্থানে এবং ছতর ঢেকে গোসল করা মুস্তাহাব।
৪. সম্পূর্ণ উলঙ্গ অবস্থায় কেবলামুখি হয়ে গোসল করা মাকরূহ।
৫. পানি জমা হয় এমন স্থানে গোসল করলে অন্যত্র সরে পা ধোয়া সুন্নাত।
৬. উযূর পর যে সব দু‘আ পড়া মুস্তাহাব গোসলের পরও তা মুস্তাহাব।

সতর্কতা: শরীরে আটা, আঠা, আলকাতরা, চুন, গাঢ় রং ইত্যাদি প্রলেপজাতীয় বস্তু লেগে থাকলে উযূ-গোসল সহীহ হবে না। এ-জাতীয় বস্তু শরীরে থাকলে উযূ ও গোসলের পূর্বে তা ভালোভাবে দূর করে তারপর উযূ-গোসল করতে হবে।
তায়াম্মুমের ফরয ৩টি
১. পবিত্র হওয়া বা ইবাদত সহীহ হওয়ার নিয়্যত করা। এভাবে বলা যায়– আমি (নামাযের জন্য) পবিত্রতা হাসিল করতে তায়াম্মুম করছি। –সূরা নিসা : ৪৩
২. পাক মাটিতে হাত মেরে মুখম-ল মাসাহ করা।
৩. পাক মাটিতে হাত মেরে কনুইসহ উভয় হাত মাসাহ করা। –হিদায়া, ১/৫০-৫১
